This needs wide readership - others have produced snippets of the re-distribution phenomenon, but making the analogy to an IPO makes perfect sense. Thanks Jordi - and can I please suggest to post/communicate the IPO analogy as widely as possible. It will help everyone.

Yes, good analogy, but what looks like an institutional takeover maps to the same old OG distribution patterns / new buyer entry patterns from each cycle. I laid out the data and consequences in this short piece: https://medium.com/@m.helfman/bitcoins-ipo-moment-let-s-hope-not-f6505bde9442

You do an excellent job outlining why this analogy may be faulty. I believe it is important to note that the patterns we have seen in the past 4 years, regardless of macro trends and economic policy, is simply behavioral economics taking course.

10+ months to set a $100k floor forever. Bullish.

Best overview I have seen for the current state of affairs - thank you for your insights. What I am most interested in is your take on the future, as once this settles out we are still looking at a finite asset, not a tech stock where more shares can be issued.

What a beautifully written explanation of the current state of bitcoin! Thank you.

I think the IPO is an excellent analogy. In comparison to the human organism, the late teens is when the transition from being an old child to becoming a young adult happens. It's choppy, puzzling, frustrating- the end of the beginning. BTC is in it's late teens- literally and metaphorically. When parents stop making marks on the wall to measure vertical growth spurts, the growth hasn't stopped, it's just shifted to another phase as it gains maturity, independence and performance.

Many thanks, Jordi, for this well written explanation. I watch you when you're chatting with Raoul and you make things clear and understandable. Blessings.

Thank you so much Jordi!!!!! I have followed you for many months that you have been featured on the Anthony Pompliano's YouTube show. This blog here brings it home and really helps me connect the dots.

If it was a "Silent IPO", it's not anymore. Thanks!

This is so well written... I've shared it will all of my members... Thanks Jordi, makes total sense and puts things in perspective. I've been out since the $120k highs, and been buying this dip around $100k. Good to know I'm not crazy for doing so. Did you have AI write this essay? :) That's a compliment b/c it really is that good.

Excellent article! Do you think the civil war between Core and Knots playing out within BTC plays any kind of a role in this?

This article accurately describes the present sideways market. But once this IPO moment is over, BTC will go after the global asset base of ~2 quadrillion and that's how human civilization progresses on the Kardashev scale from 0 to 1. Not j/ s- curve, not decaying power law...omega candles are inevitable.
