In my weekly YouTube video and podcast with Anthony Pompliano, I spend a great deal of time highlighting the macro importance of artificial intelligence and how it is disrupting everything we think we know, from the economy and recessions to historical stock market valuations and profit margins.
I think ChatGPT is fine for what I am suggesting of just having a conversation with one. Each has developed a particular specialty for me so I use all of them for different segments of my life. Grok for real time sentiment for both sides of an argument of a stock or economy as well as a benchmark for something like "what will be the tariffs in the end." Perplexity for searches and Stock Analysis. Gemini for use with gmail and with creating podcasts through Notebook LM. Claude for creating knowledge brains using its project function and MCP for agents. Just as an example. ChatGPT is my general learning tool and assistant mostly due to using it the most. Good luck
I had my first “brainstorm” with AI whilst walking through the streets of Vienna two week ago. At first it felt odd but I walked, talked, listened & repeated, it started feeling like a “normal convo”. And I’m certain ppl observing me just thought I was on a regular phone call.
Thanks for this info Jordi. Your talks with Pomp about AI and your own weekly YouTube videos (just started listening/discovered you about 2 months ago) have really opened my eyes to this. I have already used Chat to restructure parts of my portfolio, make decisions on investment properties, health supplement analysis and many other avenues. My kid and her friends use it all the time in middle school as an assistant to help them study and it’s fascinating to see. I appreciate all you do and look forward to learning more from you.
As a retired 73-year-old software developer (who learned to ski at age 52), I have much time to learn new stuff and at least try to keep up on AI and blockchain tech (both very complicated software) to help me decide where to invest. I'm always telling people that I'm glad I'm old, because I cannot imagine trying to decide how to prepare for a career (what to study) if I were now a teenager. The world is moving way too fast now, and depending upon who is predicting, AI/robots will be doing most jobs in 10-20 years. By then, I expect most learning to be done using AI/robot tutors and Augmented/Virtual Reality "field trips" or labs. What will we do with all the school buildings and college campuses? I agree that now one should learn how to use/leverage AI if one wants to be employed (self-employed) in the near future, during the transition to post human employment.
I play with various chatbots daily and sometimes play one off the other. I often get different answers and will ask each about the other's answer. "Why do you say this when Grok says that." I often challenge the answer I get and show it a URL link that contradicts its response. The conversations are fun and enlightening. They are already "smarter" than I am in nearly every subject, so I can learn almost anything from them. Go for it! Learn from them, but also challenge them with your info, so they can also learn from you.
Thx Jordi, its helped me make some major financial decisions I would have had to pay a professional thousands in literally minutes. I spent 20 years in software sales and its nice to see the evolution of software into something really useful for everyone. I hope it doesn't go the route of tv, radio, and to some sense the internet and turn into an advertising machine. If its free it will unfortunately. Well written article, thx for sharing.
Great stuff Jordi. At the least it’s the search engine we’ve always wanted. I’m using it to help me build spreadsheets. I’m looking for an AI to help me build a great one pager to highlight the benefits of a piece of real estate in a major city. I want to include data with links to leases, levels of business, deposits at banks etc. I’d love some suggestions from anyone on which AI is best for something like that. I’m thinking power point but that might not be the best option. Thanks for any suggestions. Btw your weekly with AP is great.
In a sea of data, that is probably the best post I have read in a long time. I use AI for brainstorming, in fact my Substack account is a result of this . Thank you and well done Jordi.
Great article Jordi. Ditto to the other comments about the Sat Sunday weekly drops. Love them!
Question: Many people ask which LLM to use. As someone with nuclear level ADD I’m worried I’ll have my brainstorming “everywhere” and then create more chaos, diminishing the benefits of focused iteration. What model do you recommend to start with? Also what price tier is necessary? What do you use specifically?
I write this above so this answers some of what you wrote. Thanks. If I had to use only one, it would be ChatGPT. However, each has its own strengths. For financial information, Perplexity. For sentiment and catalysts, Grok. I use Notebook LM for creating podcasts from YouTube’s and PDFs and deep research reports. I use Gemini as part of Google suite.
In terms of price point, it’s think it is necessary to pay 20 dollars a month for one of them and I would choose ChatGPT.
Thank you Jordi. I've just started using the voice mode on Grok in the last couple of weeks. I thought this is cool and went back to mostly typing prompts for specific tasks. I listened to your comments on Pomp's show Saturday and really started doubling down on my voice usage based on your comments. I am capturing so much more now. This article really resonates with me and I appreciate you sharing this!
Great piece as usual Jordi. Found you through the interview with Raoul on RV and really enjoy your Sat with Pomp and the Sunday videos. Please keep it up!

Absolutely. I do it through the streets of Manhattan most days. I am with you.

Thx Jordi from the Nederlands .
Inspiring and motivating, thank you. (Also a late ski starter!)

My favorite sub is you’re so far - each week they just keep getting better.
New to your sub & loved this article. 🙏🏼

agreed. Other than the occasional Raoul or Luke Gromen, my only consistent must see are Saturday and Sunday with Jordi.
Magnificent as always, Jordi!
